And all in the wonderful and
woeful World of Warcraft rejoiced! Blizzard has added more vanity items to its
online store, playing the ever so faithful enabler to our collecting addiction.
Players can now choose one of three unrestricted Transmogrification helms, duel
a buddy on a Seesaw toy and allow parties to all mount up on ghostly iron
steeds.
Limited-Use
As reported by TenTonHammer
World of Warcraft players can expect to see a set of limited-use items on the
online store soon. This includes a playfull Seesaw toy and Hitching post.
This toy will allow party
members to mount up on a seesaw and duel to
the death! Okay, not really, but they will have to try and knock each other
off. Alternatively, if you’d like to be a filthy cheater, you can summon Lunk
the Ogre to do your dirty work for you and launch your opponent into the air.
Another great item in the
set is the Hitching Post, unlike the seesaw you won’t be able to mount the
item, but it will allow you and up to 24 of your mates to mount up on their own
Iron Warhorse mount. Although the item is for vanity use only, it will be
usable in Battlegrounds which is pretty damn awesome since in many
battlegrounds, the entire party can launch their assault from these ghostly
steeds.
Transmog helms
There are three new helms
available on the Blizzard
store, the items are live and already available for $15. These cosmetic
items will be usable by all races and classes, no restrictions. All you have to
do is visit the transmogrification NPC and use it on your head slot item. This
is what they look like:
Recovered from the frozen
battlefields of Northrend, the Crown of Eternal Winter enshrouds your character
in an icy visage of death. Now, you can adopt the look of an elite member of
the Scourge, but without the inconvenience of undying bondage in the service of
the Lich King.
Salvaged from the remains of
the fallen minions of Ragnaros the Firelord, this helm sets you apart as a
glowing beacon on an otherwise crowded battlefield. Where’s the rally point?
How about by that guy with the RAW ELEMENTAL FIRE emanating from his forehead?
Forged from Fel Iron and
shrouded in flames, the Hood of Hungering Darkness is a remnant of a rare dark
magic only practiced by the warlocks of the Shadow Council. The lingering curse
that keeps this headpiece burning is thought to be harmless, but feign demonic
possession once you adorn it and see who dares to believe otherwise.
