Payday 2’s game director David Goldfarb discusses what the Safehouse is
in the game. Described as a “manifestation of your financial well being”, the
Safehouse stores your booty and serves as a test chamber.
The Safehouse allows you to blow stuff up without the risk of failing
your mission, as well as admire your achievements as a criminal. Check out the
