F1 2013 gets a release date

Codemasters has revealed the official release date for 2013. Here’s a hint: it won’t release on the same date across the globe but it will release on the same date across all platforms. Europe will be getting their race on first.

Codemasers has confirmed that F1 2013 will release on 4 October on XBOX 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in Europe and on 8 October in the US. To mark the release date of the game, they have released a hot lap video using only work-in-progress in-game footage featuring the Hungaroring circuit. The video shows off Toro Rosso’s Daniel Ricciardo, narrated by Anthony Davidson.
